Hello friends! How you hanging in there? We sure hope you're still chasing rainbows, catching fireflies, and sleighing dragons out in this wild world! As for us here at hollylocks, our days are filled with sunshine smiles, unicorn kisses, Bear hugs, and dinosaur roars! Our biggest joy is sharing our happiness and memories in the making with you!


Yes, the world is feeling a bit different these days and so are things around our shop. We can't express enough how grateful we are for our team of stylists and loyal clients to be reunited... and yes, it feels so good! Together we have quite seamlessly adapted to the changes in salon operations set forth by Governor Sisolak and The State Board Of Cosmetology. We appreciate your grace and support while we wiggle back into the swing of things.


We want to address some of the new ABCs and 123s around here. We hope our answers to your most frequently asked questions help ease your mind and get you fully prepared for your next visit to see us!


When are your current business hours?


We are open 7 days a week! Our hours are typically 10am-5:30pm. We are trying our best to stay consistent, however our daily hours may vary from time to time.


Do I have to make an appointment?


Yes and No!


Yes! Haircuts are currently being taken by appointment if you would like a specific day, time or stylist for a future haircut.You can book an appointment online by visiting our website at hollylocksreno.com. Just click on the red button "Reserve a seat" in the middle of the homepage or click on the following link to take you straight there: https://book.insightdns.com/$/ Login and follow the prompts to solidify your spot. If you have any trouble, please give us a call at (775) 825-7905 and we'll make sure your info is correct in our system.

***please use the name for the person getting the haircut for your appointment. i.e. your child's first and last name together with no spaces as the username and 10-digit phone number as the password. If the information doesn't match up, please leave us a voicemail with the correct first and last name (spelling included) and phone number with the area code. We'll get it updated for you asap!


No! If you are chomping at the bits to come in for a same day haircut at a flexible time, we encourage utilizing our daily online wait list that is now OPEN. You will receive a text message when it is approximately 25 minutes before your turn. The system is interactive so feel free to text us and we'll happily respond.


What does showing up for our appointment look like?


Please arrive for your pre-scheduled appointment 5-10 minutes early. We do not currently have an indoor waiting room and appreciate you spending a few extra moments outside in the sunshine. We'll be sure to leave some chalk out for you to help beautify our sidewalk if you'd like. Your stylist will be out shortly to get you. Upon entering we ask that only family or members of the same household accompany the person getting a haircut. Please wash your hands or use a few squirts of hand sanitizer. Then just sit back and relax, we'll take it from there.


How are you addressing social distancing and staying on top of cleaning/ sanitizing procedures?


Our salon station setup allows for at least 6 feet of social distance from other families and staff. Our clients are not required to wear a face mask, however our stylists and staff are. Whatever works best for the health and safety of you and your family is a-okay with us. Cleaning and sanitation is our number one priority to help keep everyone safe and healthy. Rest assured we are diligently disinfecting all tools, supplies, stations, and chairs before and after each client. If you and yours require accommodations for sensitive groups please let us know and we can definitely cater to your needs. From there we proceed as normal. We believe that any and every haircut experience makes for special moments shared in collaboration. To uphold our welcoming and comfortable environment we still have movies and music playing, bubbles to blow, and of course a sweet hair sugar and lollipop ending.
